History

In 1994, Design-com Technologies was established with the vision of securing a major presence in the rapidly expanding Communication Industry. This vision has now been realised, our success being attributed to the careful combination of ‘best practices’, research and development, world class manufacturing and a commitment of quality to our customers.

A wholly Australian owned company, Design-com Technologies Head Office and manufacturing facility is based in the eastern Melbourne suburb of Mitcham, with offices in Sydney, New Zealand and Singapore.

Resources

First, people resources. Motivated management team, backed by design engineers, software engineers, field technicians, logistics, internal customer service and production personnel, all skilled and singularly focused on servicing the customer.

Second, we are in control. Design-com Technologies internal resources have a ‘start to finish’ capability, including research and development, design, toolmaking and component injection moulding. We use the best in computer controlled, automated, assembly machines, surface mount technology, lead free soldering methods and advanced methods of material and production planning, ensuring our products are delivered on time.

Third, sufficient financial resources to invest in innovative plant and equipment to enable us to keep abreast of the technology changes that take place within the industry.
