The emFONE LX System is an auto-dialing lift intercom system designed to save both time and money in all aspects of the installation. A single telephone line can be shared by up to 32 intercom stations and a robust 4-wire bus arrangement allows simple cabling solutions avoiding the need to run individual wires to each intercom station.

A security room console will identify the calling lift on an LCD display. If the console is not answered within a pre-set time then the system will dial out to the lift company using the external line. Where a security room does not exist, the unit can be programmed to dial out to an external control centre immediately.

The system will help a person unable to communicate with the service provider, either because of a physical disability or language difference. A remote programmable digital voice message, of up to 16 seconds, is played upon answer of the call, and is used to identify the calling location to service provider.

The lift company can ring into the system and select any lift car or intercom station to communicate with or if necessary talk to all intercom stations by a group page.
