The emLIGHT EL-50W is an emergency lighting backup system. It incorporates the latest microprocessor technology to achieve intelligent automated self-testing functionality and maximum light operation.

It is capable of driving Halogen-replacement MR16 LED lamps ranging from a minimum of 1W up to a maximum of 50W. The EL-50W complies with the Australian standard for emergency lighting by providing more than the required light intensity for more than the minimum time of 2 hours.

On initialisation of a self-test, a power failure is simulated and the lamps are operated for up to 2 hours. LED indicators and a buzzer will alert maintenance personnel that either the lamps or the battery require attention or replacement in order to meet their rated specifications.

The unit can be easily installed into existing and new elevators with its flexible flat or vertical mounting options.
